We are currently seeing a number of advances in the materials used for caries prevention – from the substrates used in remineralisation of tooth structures to new ways to detect caries. This collection draws together the technological advances alongside clinical and behavioural applications, which aim to prevent the most prevalent chronic disease worldwide.
