Sustainable Materials for Environmental and Energy Applications in Harsh Conditions

This special collection aims to bring together original research on engineering sustainable materials to achieve better performance in harsh environment through nanotechnology and bioengineering. This includes the creation of nanocomposites with superior mechanical and thermal properties, and bio-inspired materials that mimic the resilience of natural systems. It also welcomes efforts to improve the recyclability of materials and minimize environmental impact of synthesis processes.
