Office/Kungsportsplatsen

As I write these sentences, I am at latitude 57° 41’ 40.6” N and longitude 11° 59’ 04.6” E. Or, in other words, in an office at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Gothenburg. Latitude and longitude are invaluable for determining the location of a place and for finding it. But latitude and longitude say nothing about what the place looks like and what it means to us.
