The Insight of the Wind

In literature, the blowing of the wind may not be perceived as a symbol, for its superfluous, invisible, quite unintentional nature. However, we can notice that when, in a novel or a poem, the wind blows, characters often become more aware of their (fictional) realities, awakening from a sort of torpor. This inner breath may not be fully understood, as it carries significance difficult to accept or, ultimately, frightening.
