At first glance, Will Freudenheim’s Schema is a standard video game exhibit.2 Tucked away at the back of a gallery, a laptop attends an otherwise lonesome monitor, and its two controllers extend an invitation – interact? I don’t take up the offer just yet. One must first survey the surroundings and answer the crucial question: Am I about to embarrass myself in front of an audience? Confident that the computer is my only company, I reach for the pad.
