摘要

The Italian Communist newspaper L’Unità wrote “We Are All Bruce’s Prisoners”,2 following Springsteen’s first show in Milan on June 21, 1985. The Italian Socialist Party requested a national broadcast of the show, but Bruce’s label, CBS, refused.3 Clearly, both the Communist and Socialist parties needed Springsteen’s “working class blues” to connect with the youth who had accused them of no longer representing their values.4
