Totalitarianism
摘要
Because of the Italian heritage of his mother, the connection between Bruce Springsteen and the city of Naples starts at the end of the nineteenth century with the Italian immigration to the United States, when many Italians embarked on a transatlantic ship in search of new opportunities.2 Raffaele Zerilli — Springsteen’s great-grandfather — was one of them. He arrived at Ellis Island from Vico Equense, a small town by the sea in the Neapolitan area, on October 3, 1900.3 His son, Anthony Alexander Andrew Zerilli, Bruce Springsteen’s grandfather, was born in America. They were rooted in a religious family.
