With all these theoretical considerations of chapters 3 and 4 in mind, it is undoubtedly possible to take a fresh look at any volume of being in its continuity and effectively discover the various articulations of its voluments. While the anthropologist’s new programme is gradually taking shape, my existential notes have not yet completed their ‘possibility’. Beyond the analysis they have enabled, I would now like to make some proposals for an ethics, shot through with something that might resemble love: being and loss are its foundation, as is the act of taking notes.
