I have experienced such an observation of continuity, from a film of 11 hours 38 minutes. The film does in fact exist, unedited. It was made on 19 January 2016 by Catherine Beaugrand and Samuel Dématraz, with two cameras focused on me, taking turns, anticipating my movements so as not to lose any of the moments or transitions2. The film began early in the morning, at my home. We see the succession without any interruption of my actions, breakfast, public transport, teaching in my university, lunch, teaching again, the return by RER, work at home, dinner. It is not a narrative or a story told in association with a theme, but a simple succession of moments3. That is why I associate it with notes, just like the literal description of my actions, gestures or thoughts based on still images: take notes and not be a writer4.
