Bridges between Knowledge and Community
摘要
Since the end of the Second World War, issues and questions relating to the relationship between science and society have become increasingly central to public debate, encouraging the emergence of a specific branch of sociological study dedicated to these dynamics. In this context, the sociology of science has established itself as a constantly evolving field of research because its object of study - closely linked to the transformations of sociocultural contexts - is increasingly at the center of collective discussion while at the same time contributing to the construction of public discourse (Cerroni and Simonella, 2014).
