The ethical issues discussed so far open up numerous reflections on artificial images that recall at least three perspectives that are intertwined with each other1: the first relates to a ‘principialist’ ethics, or, even more precisely, to a normative-deontological ethics,2 founded on those moral values/obligations that must guide and justify the creation of Image GenAI systems and their use by individuals and other algorithmic systems.3
