(Un-)Finished Stories
摘要
ReTrans interactive stories are open educational resources that aim to raise awareness for the challenges of interpreted encounters among various stakeholders dependent on interpreting services in their daily work with refugees. Contributing to the educational resources for interpreter education and training, the stories were developed through interdisciplinary collaboration between both researchers and students of interpreting studies and game studies. The interactive stories employ playful learning and game design methods to foster critical thinking skills and familiarise interpreters with recurring themes in transborder migration contexts. In this contribution, we report on developing stories with students while incorporating their course feedback.
