Hope and Agency of the Future

I begin this chapter by touching on the main points which concluded each of the analytical chapters, referencing specific examples in the narratives of the women with whom I spoke in order to illustrate said points. Using these points—regarding the elements of identity and demonstrations of agency revealed— I return to the research questions laid out in the first chapter. As the progress of the chapters follow the evolution of the questions, grounded in the everyday lives and narratives of Shingali Ezidi women, I hope the revelations (or lack thereof) to be clear, coherent, and enlightening.
