Theoretical background and methods
摘要
In this part, I recall the definition of translation culture, briefly summarize the thoughts of some scholars on the concept, and contextualise them in my project. Further, I introduce the model I will be using in this book to investigate the chosen translation culture. Finally, I discuss the method of histoire croisée, which is widely applied in this volume.
