The categories of conflict, war and peace have long been the focus of various academic disciplines. However, the number and extent of conflicts in the world are contributing to an ever more intensive examination of these research topics. This article is also dedicated to conflict, war and peace as a subject of research, firstly by presenting them from the broad perspective of conflict and peace research. In a second step, an attempt is made to examine war in particular as a possible form of conflict and as a counterpart to peace from a literary, linguistic and didactic perspective. That is because it cannot be denied that war events and experiences of war are processed in literary form. The linguistic perspective on war is also of great importance, as language is always affected by war. A question that should not be overlooked in this context concerns how to deal with the topic of war and peace in the classroom.

摘要
