“Bureaucracy in disability law needs to be relaxed”
摘要
Rudolf Scheps has been volunteering at Hildesheim’s district group of the Lower Saxony Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted for almost 19 years. Due to his many years of commitment, he was elected the first chairman of the district group by his colleagues. As a partially sighted person, he supports other partially sighted people as part of his volunteer work. In addition to important events of the federation, such as the annual general meeting, he also organises events like the district group’s summer party, Christmas party and the annual day trip. The main focus of his work, however, is to support the blind and visually impaired people in their concerns.
