This chapter presents the conclusions that can be drawn from the research. Discussing the research questions, this chapter will also reflect on the difficulties and challenges faced by professional and nonprofessional interpreters who provide interpreting services to refugees in Germany, as well as the fundamental issues for clients from the perspective of translation studies: ethics, etc. As explained in detail in Section 4.6, these results were reached by analyzing interviews conducted with twenty Syrian refugees living in Halle, six interviews with professional interpreters, and six interviews with nonprofessional interpreters, as well as analyzing a questionnaire that was presented to one hundred Syrian refugee participants also living in Halle.
