摘要

The development from the simplest life forms to humans was not predetermined from the beginning of the universe, but the physics of the Big Bang opened up a steadily expanding, though ultimately limited, field of possibilities in which Homo sapiens sapiens could also appear. There can be no talk of freely floating chance. Instead, evolution moves along a path that progressively enables higher complexity.
