The illusion of free will

The very concept of free will already reveals its nonexistence. If will were free, it would be caused by nothing else. Such indeterminacy is simply inconceivable. From an evolutionary perspective, free will is a useful illusion that enables human action. This illusion, however, is also significant for innovation.
