Superior stupidity

A person who speaks five languages fluently and can absorb the knowledge of entire libraries contributes nothing to the development of collective intelligence. To be an agent of innovation, one does not need to be particularly clever, but must be capable of making new, evolutionarily significant experiences. This idea, framed by evolutionary theory, that the passing on of positive traits leads to progress is actually the reproduction of conformism.
