Collective Intelligence
摘要
Ant colonies are an ideal model of a collective intelligence with analogies to humans. However, they also suggest that the brain does not develop through social communication but instead that the brain’s complexity creates the social aspect. Neither the brain’s relative size nor the concentration of neurons is the decisive factor for associative thought or action.
