摘要

Overall, the book has been an analytical exercise in what analytical purchase transnational habitus may offer to scholars. These are conceptual questions which speak to sociological research interested in the application of theorytheory which has implications for how we understand the social world particularly with regard to transnational social spaces and the social practices of migrantsmigrants within them. We are interested in how has habitus been used and, more importantly, how is it useful in research on migrationmigration? We focused our writing on three interwoven aims: critiquing transnational habitus, mapping transnational spaces of classificationclassification, and analysing transnational selves drawing on reflexivityreflexivity. In the concluding chapter, we bring reflexivity to the fore focusing on our lived experiences. This process involves confronting the question of how extended and diverse experiences with transnational mobilities foster a transnational habitus?
