Evolving and Adapting UMA Systems

  • Enrico Piovesan

摘要

Even though most systems are carefully planned, their behavior can become hard to grasp right after deployment. During the design phase, the architecture seems well-controlled, with clearly defined capabilities, explicit contracts, and intentional system boundaries. Interactions are depicted through clear relationships, and diagrams offer a cohesive view of the system. At this point, behavior is mostly predictable because it is confined by what has been explicitly modeled. While complexity is present, it is limited by design choices and the scope of implementation.
