The Drift
摘要
Chapter 11 left us inside the trap. The double bind, where institutions cannot reliably verify what is real and cannot fully govern the systems making decisions on their behalf. Where humans inside the loop have lost both the authority and the inclination to question the determinations they relay. Where the trap closed not through conspiracy or malice but through the accumulated weight of rational decisions made under competitive pressure, and where the most consequential outcomes are no longer recoverable. That was the chapter's diagnosis at the level of the moment, of the individual interaction, of the case that ended in court or in tragedy.
