Much of this book treats Swift like a bit of a functional programming language. That’s because the developers wanted us to be able to do so, and many administrative tasks can be done with small scripts. However, as projects grow, it’s important to have a fundamental idea of what object-oriented programming is, and how it changes the way we write code.
