摘要

Developing a sophisticated domain-driven platform is only the first challenge in the journey toward transforming an organization's engineering culture. The real test comes when attempting to scale that platform's adoption across numerous domains, teams, and business units. Building an elegant architecture means little if teams continue to rely on legacy systems and shadow infrastructure or bypass the platform entirely in favor of ad hoc solutions. This chapter addresses the critical transition from “build” to “scale,” primarily the period where platform teams must shift from feature development to fostering organizational adoption. We examine the patterns, anti-patterns, and strategies from a DDPE lens that determine whether a platform becomes embedded in an organization's engineering DNA or remains confined to a few adopter teams.
