Golden Paths and API Design per Domain

The preceding chapter established the organizational and structural foundations for domain-driven platforms. We explored Team Topologies, product thinking, and the interaction modes that enable effective collaboration. Now we turn to the developer-facing interfaces that translate platform capabilities into domain-specific experiences. This chapter examines how to design golden paths and APIs [1] that speak the language of each domain while maintaining the consistency and governance that platforms require. These principles build on domain-driven design [6] thinking that organizes systems around business domains.
