Figure 3-1 provides a good response as to why conversational experiences can be better for users. Conversations can drastically change these interfaces. This chapter will describe the revolution that is occurring, the change from classic forms, controls, and buttons to conversations. This chapter will also describe where these changes will most benefit your application. The notion of conversational experiences has always been appealing. Conversations are more appealing than a complex user experience, more approachable and friendlier. But they were incredibly difficult to build. We have tried to create these solutions before LLMs, and they often resulted in horrible tree navigation structures. Figure 3-2 shows a classic choice selection option for chat.
