I2C: Two-Wire Interface

The chapter will introduce us to the I\(^2\)C communications protocol, also known as the Two Wire Interface for copyright and/or patent reasons. Here we will look at all the nuts and bolts of I\(^2\)C and show its use with a number of examples. In addition, we will develop a “Wire” library equivalent and use that as the basis for a library for the LM75A Temperature Sensor.
