Thain Earns Trust

This chapter strengthens Thain with observability, governance, and audit controls. It introduces structured tracing, payload redaction, policy checks, safety flags, error normalization, and trace replay so agent behavior can be inspected and governed across successful and failed runs. These layers make tool use, approvals, policy decisions, and failures visible without coupling governance logic directly to the Agent Framework runtime.
