CI/CD is now an aspect of modern software development to develop reliable, scalable, and rapidly changing applications. Such things as the old-fashioned release cycles, where a software application is not released in weekly or monthly cycles but in fact manually tested and deployed, do not exist in the present new, fast-paced, cloud-driven world. The users desire to be on the same level with the rapid updates, rapid fixes, and new features with no interruptions, and companies should be able to deliver them in a sure and constant way. CI/CD may address this need by automating all the stages between the code commitment and deployment processes to allow teams to integrate and test changes to the software and release them with confidence.
