Now, it's time to discuss software management in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. In this chapter, we will discuss only the traditional and most commonly used methods of managing software required for the RHCSA exam: RPM packages and Flatpak. We will not talk about RHEL bootc images, which is a new feature in RHEL 10. But it is not required for the exam and definitely not widely adopted at the time of writing this book.
