摘要

Chapter 1 left us with an unsettling thought: the destiny of AI rests less on the brilliance of its algorithms and more significantly on an enterprise's readiness to adopt them. This phenomenon was previously termed the readiness gap delta (Δ). It is the reason why some firms transform pilots into enduring advantages, while others are caught in a cycle of forgotten prototypes. MIT’s framing of the GenAI Divide [11] gave voice to what many leaders already suspected. Enterprises are conducting numerous experiments, but only a few successfully transition into production. The models themselves are rarely the cause of failure. Instead, the problems arise from difficulties in integrating systems, teams lacking the knowledge to operationalize ideas, and governance struggling to keep pace with innovation. Uncontained excitement quickly becomes fragile and succumbs to pressure.
