摘要

These are two different ways of thinking about the world. Our unconscious mind favors “all,” “same,” “forever.” It wants projects to match their initial descriptions. It wants a project to do “exactly what it says on the biscuit tin.” This kind of thinking can make projects impossible. We need to be able to spot when our unconscious fascination with all, same, forever, and exact match is causing problems. We need to be clear. Focusing on “some,” “different,” “for a while,” and “inexact match” is a powerful way of thinking. It’s a way to create possible, deliverable, and valuable projects. It’s the way to stop worrying so much about the biscuit tin and deliver delicious biscuits.
