One of the greatest mistakes I have seen repeatedly throughout my career is involving QA only at the very end, after a feature has already been developed. In this outdated model, QA is called in once the code is written, once the feature is “done,” and then asked to test it. By then, it is too late for QA to truly influence quality in any meaningful way.

One of the greatest mistakes I have seen repeatedly throughout my career is involving QA only at the very end, after a feature has already been developed. In this outdated model, QA is called in once the code is written, once the feature is “done,” and then asked to test it.
