Overview of Distributed Systems
摘要
In the constantly evolving field of software engineering, complexity is a constant characteristic, which leads to larger systems and increased resource demands, particularly with the surge in AI technologies. Despite the ubiquity of distributed systems as the base of modern software engineering, many organizations find themselves caught in the complexities of outdated codebases, desperately seeking modernization. Banking and healthcare are examples of this, where highly complex and outdated code is still used today. As the demand for scalable and reliable systems grows, distributed systems emerge as the model of resilience and efficiency, which today's software engineering landscape suggests as the solution.
