We covered advancements in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) automation, real-time regulatory analysis, and risk management. This chapter shifts to retail banking, where GenAI is driving innovation in customer-facing operations. We explore three core applications: intelligent customer support and digital assistants, credit risk profiling and loan decisioning for thin-file customers, and AI-powered Know Your Customer (KYC) and compliance automation. Together, these use cases highlight how GenAI is enabling more personalized, efficient, and scalable retail banking services.
