Calculating the Greeks
摘要
This chapter moves beyond simply pricing derivatives and explores one of the most crucial aspects of quantitative finance: the Greeks. While option prices provide us with a snapshot of value, the Greeks measure how sensitive those prices are to changes in underlying parameters—such as the underlying asset price, volatility, time, and interest rates. These sensitivities form the backbone of risk management, hedging strategies, and trading decisions in modern financial markets.
