In this chapter, we will turn the default Details view for all the Employee fields into a complex, full-fledged Employee Details view with child lists, custom fields from related entities, as well as UI-only computed fields. You will learn how to create or edit related entities in a separate Details view, as well as how to build and use a Lookup View for selecting an existing entity. In addition to adding new fields and functionality, you will also learn how to configure the layout for the Details view by grouping fields into tabs and panels, as well as how to convert the Details view into a masterdetail layout when opening it from the List view.
