An ICP aligns specific PIRs with the most appropriate intelligence collection assets, ensuring that the intelligence collected is both relevant and actionable. This process requires a deep understanding of each collection asset's capabilities to ensure they can effectively answer the PIRs and the associated Essential Elements of Intelligence (EEIs).
