In this chapter, we will continue to work with the previous panels and tools but now will further explore working with the Layer panel to add and alter layers in Fresco. Layers, as you will discover, are not just for keeping your artwork organized but can add additional enhancements to the artwork such as opacity and basic color adjustments. Layers can also be used to create different kinds of masks to block part of the artwork as well. You will also look at other tools that work with layers. In a project, we will then continue to work with the artwork from the previous chapter. Refer to Figure 5-1.
