A truism of building GenAI applications is that it’s often very quick to build a promising prototype or proof of concept (POC) but similarly very hard to truly realize financial gains in the early minimum viable product (MVP) and production stages. This is perhaps true for all software builds, where late and over budget are not uncommon labels applied to software engineering efforts in large companies.
