What Are Impossible Projects?
摘要
As soon as they begin working on projects, all project managers hear advice on what they should do to successfully run the projects. Each project management approach has its own recipe for success. Everything is laid out in front of you. It’s enough to stick to the rules, include every management area, follow the suggested processes, and apply the fully effective tools; you are bound to succeed. Interestingly, there are even clearly defined success criteria for any project. Apparently, it’s enough to deliver on time, within scope, and to ensure the required quality. So the question remains: why are most projects delayed, and why do so many fail? It should suffice to invest in training, right? A PMI-certified project manager will certainly cope—or won’t they? You can also hire a consultant or a trainer in agile methods. Most companies had come to this conclusion long ago. Many years ago. And yet, the problem has not been solved.
