Rule 7: Consciously Manage Information Flow
摘要
In difficult, unrealistic projects, you struggle with a multitude of problems from the start. You have a hyper-ambitious schedule to meet, which is simply impossible to do. The client, however, has been assured that everything is under control. You likely have to create a large part of the product from scratch. The client thinks that the product is complete and just needs to be properly configured and deployed to production. Someone promised that your company is a specialist in the field, yet you have no one familiar with the topic. Your management team expects the company to make a fortune, but the project is making losses, so no one wants to provide you with the right people, and there is no approval to hire new ones.
