You can read that most projects are delayed in various texts or study materials. Delivering projects by the book and perfectly is difficult, even when they seem simple or somewhat complicated. And what if the project you’re dealing with is big and complex, and it’s clear from the start that fulfilling the client’s needs according to the contract is mildly ambitious or just plain unrealistic? And so, we’re taught that the work should be completed on schedule at all costs, and the scope should be delivered in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
