We've looked at the process by which a standard tabletop exercise is executed, from the different roles of the participants to how and when to wrap up an exercise. What we haven't yet touched on is the idea of a gamified tabletop exercise. What is gamification? Why should a tabletop be gamified? What's the benefit? What issues may you run into with gamification? Does this make the tabletop exercises more complex and difficult for the participants?
