One of the great strengths of UltraEdit (and of any editor, of course) is its versatility and flexibility, which are realized through the most detailed configuration mechanisms possible. UltraEdit takes a very complex and at the same time clear approach here, and the scope of this chapter stands in contrast to other shorter chapters. We would therefore like to point out that although this chapter describes the many possibilities and functions of UltraEdit, it can be used as a reference for the purpose of text editing, depending on the user’s preference.
