Texture Painting
摘要
In this chapter, I’ll show you a cool but perhaps lesser-known feature in Blender: projection painting textures for a mesh by sampling from the same reference photos used to model it. I’ll start by going over how the procedure works, then walk you through the steps to perform it by hand. Once you’re familiar with the manual process, I’ll show you how to automate its key stages with Blender Python. To wrap up the chapter, I’ll discuss the pros and cons of using projection-painted textures over hand-painted ones and the types of scenarios suitable for each.
