MLOps for Generative AI

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) represents one of the most fascinating and rapidly advancing fields within the broader landscape of AI. Unlike traditional AI models that focus on classification or prediction, generative AI models create new data instances. With the recent rise of generative AI, we are prompted to consider how MLOps processes should be adapted to this new class of AI-powered applications. In this chapter, we focus on the productionization of large language models (LLMs) and MLOps practices for the generative AI application lifecycle.
