AI Is Everywhere

Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere within cybersecurity. Most cybersecurity products today tout the use of AI. We see this in the marketing materials for all major categories of cybersecurity products, including behavior analytics, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, vulnerability management, and next-generation firewalls (NGFW). These cybersecurity tools rely on AI because it is a powerful tool that can discover hidden patterns and associations, classify discrete objects, and make predictions based on the massive amount of cybersecurity data.
